Seoul National University warmly invites you to the 5th International Congress of the ICMPC. This interdisciplinary conference will focus on a variety of aspects of music perception and cognition: psychoacoustics, music performance, musical development, music modeling, music analysis, neuropsychology, psychophysiology, sociology, ethnomusicology music therapy, computer application, cybernetics and artificial intelligence.

Unpublished papers on research in music perception and cognition are invited for presentation at three types of sessions: reading sessions, poster sessions, demonstrations. Abstracts for proposed papers, posters and demonstrations should be on a single side of paper, with the author's name, title, institutional affiliation, mailing address, and email address at the top (where they can be concealed for preliminary reading by the Scientific Committee).

Abstracts must be submitted before 31 January, 1998 (in envelopes marked 'ICMPC: Reading Sessions,' 'ICMPC: Poster sessions' or 'ICMPC: Demonstrations') directly to the organiser:
